Based on VIA K8T800 + VT8237, K8T Neo ATX mobo is designed for Socket 754 Athlon64 processors. It supports AMD Cool'n'Quiet technology; features 3 x DIMM sockets for up to 3Gb DDR 266/333/400 (PC2100/2700/3200), int. 6-ch. AC97 audio codec, optical and coaxial SPDIF, AGP 8X, 5 x PCI slots, 4 x Serial ATA/150 ports (2 on VT8237 Southbridge, 2 on int. Promise Serial ATA RAID controller), 3 x ATA133 ports (2 on VT8237, 1 on Promise RAID), int. VIA RAID and Promise RAID controllers (RAID 0, 1, 0+1), Gigabit LAN controller and 2 x IEEE1394 ports.

The board also features MSI's CoreCell chip; supports D.O.T. (Dynamic Overclocking Technology) and LiveUpdate (LiveBIOS/LiveDriver).
