well its not leagally possible there is an encoder out there that can transfer this data but it is hard to find. so it is realativly possible and it can be done but theres not a good chance of it happening

It would be great, because I have a friend who's FF crazy, but sadly isn't allowed to get a console.(Parents wouldn't want it) He's willing to get the game, if it works on the PC.

From what I've heard, all of the PS2 emulators out there are incapable of playing commmercial games ATM. You can play Playstation games with no problems, though.
