PC Game Not Showing Up on HDTV

I have recently built a new HTPC an have been looking forward to doing some pc gaming on my Pioneer 5020 plasma. I am able to get 2 of the 3 pc games I own to show up (Transformers 2 and Batman-Arkayn Asylum) but when I click on the desktop icon for Ghostbusters my Pioneer screen goes completely black. I have tried changing the refresh rate for Ghostbusters from 30hz to 60hz but that accomplished nothing. As a side note, Batman did the same thing until I changed the game's resolution to 1920x1080 (which is what my plasma TV is). Ghostbusters is already set to this resolution. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. All games show up fine on my 1080p Asus monitor connected via DVI.

ATI 4870x2 gpu
Asus p6t motherboard
Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit
Asus 1080p monitor via DVI
Pioneer 5020 plasma HDTV connected via HDMI
