Default SG33G5M at 1680x1050

Another question about my Shuttle:

I use the graphics of the mainboard (Intel GMA 3100) at a resolution of 1680x1050 with drivers I got with the Shuttle.
Now I notice that there is a horizontal unsharpness: horizontal lines of 1 pixel are sharp, vertical lines of 1 pixel are unsharp.
My monitor is an ACER 2251WA 22" TFT.

Is this a driver issue?
Is the resolution to high for a good performing GMA 3100?

If you want to game at that resolution then you'd better get yourself a good videocard as the onboard video doesn't have the power.
