XPC Tools Vista 64bit

I can't seem to get XPCTools to install on my Vista64bit machine. I am running the SD37P2 V2. I have downloaded the latest version of XPCTools from Shuttle's website but I can't seem to be able to get it to run.

The error message I get is that it was not installed correctly.

I currently have UAC turned off.
I have tried installing and running as administrator and still it wont start.

I am worried that it may get hot in my entertainment unit, so I would like to be able to set the fan speed with XPCTools.

Help?

I have never used this program, but have you tried it in XP compatibility mode yet, that might help
