Default Crucial kindly provides samples for testing (P35 and P45)

I have been speaking with Kelly at Crucial.com for the past week or so about compatibility and advanced timings for Gigabyte boards using Crucial Memory.

Crucial and Kelly has kindly sent me samples of two widely used configurations for testing on P35 and P45 based boards to find the best advanced timings for all the Crucial and Gigabyte customers.

These are the newer 2.0V Sticks, Single sided for the 1GB models and Double sided of course for the 2GB models. If anyone would like to know the Specific models in these tests they are here >>>

1GB
BL12864AA80A - 1GB, Ballistix 240-pin DIMM , DDR2 PC2-6400 from Crucial.com

2GB
BL25664AA80A - 2GB, Ballistix 240-pin DIMM , DDR2 PC2-6400 from Crucial.com

I am a very busy person, as many of you already know. I am trying to get my review finished up on the GA-P45-DS4P as well............

So these tests may take a while. I just wanted to make this thread to assure the many Crucial users out there, that Crucial and I would like to help them get the best out of their purchase when using a Gigabyte board.

This way users know I am personally looking into some advanced timings for them and testing compatibility of the newer modules.

I will provide settings I find stable and that perform well at various speeds. These tests will be done with 4x1GB and 2x2GB PC2-6400 Modules, and optimal settings will be posted for various speeds.

Hopefully this testing will clear up some of the compatibility issues previously discussed in various threads, and help everyone to find the best settings for their system.

Wipe, did I ever get your issues sorted out? If not, feel free to bump your thread and I will try to help. Will get into some testing tonight or tomorrow with these and start posting some stock timings/settings and findings for P35/45

Results will be up some, still have some testing to get done and graphs made. I did reply in his thread as well.

So far these modules have ZERO issues with P45
