Default Determine BIOS version

How can I determine the BIOS version of my board ,a GA-EP45-UD3P.

Zalman CNPS9700 CPU Cooler

3 160 GB Seagate Hard Drives
Sony DRU-810A DVD Drive

Usually you can find out during the BIOS bootup.

If you have Windows installed, try CPU-Z and check under the Mainboard tab.

CPU-Z says FA date 5/4/09 . What I don't understand is when BIOS versions are mentioned FA isn't talked about.

That's because you are using the latest UD3P board (revision 1.6). I believe most users are still using the older revisions which have the BIOS extension F[numerical number].

Luckily, stasio has an updated list on the latest BIOSes.
