I managed, somehow, installed the intel matrix storage driver, and the HDD now working properly in SATA Generation 2 mode. the intel matrix storage console also installed and works fine. now the problem is that I could not use the hot swap function. the HDD still can not be hot-plug out......but the NCQ is working now..... previously, the windows Xp installed without AHCI driver, so it was not working well.... now I managed install the AHCI driver.... but the hot swap function could not be enabled... a bit strange. can anybody help a little bit? many thanks! |

Do you have AHCI Enabled in the BIOS? Can you try this and see if it works, if not you may have to do a clean install properly >>>
HotSwap!
