At this point I chanfge on the Bios the voltaje DRAM from dafault 1,5 to 1.8. I hchave introduced manulay the 9 9 9 24 whit the Dram Timing Selectable. and whit the System Memory Multiplier , I have selected 4B that meanst 334x4 and bingo I got my Rams working well a7 1333. The thing is I want to go up to 1600 and I dont know what steps I must to do. Probaly need overclocking to 400 and I need help to do that, I have never play whit any Bios before and Im afraid to mistake, and any help will be very aprecciated . Thanks in advance

We need info about your system and bios settings.
See this post for details. Click on the link to the generic bios template for your EP45 mobo.
Ignore the suggested settings at the beginning of the post.

With your cpu running at 400MHz, your memory will run at its rated speed using the 4.0 memory multiplier.
If you want to stay at the stock 2.50GHz speed, we can lower the cpu multiplier.

What I did , is keeping the 333x4b in the Memory Multipler, I have changed the CPU Host Frequency to, 350, 380 and 400 and I see Hoh the memory frecuency benn comming uo to,, Well 380x7=2660 Gh, is wotking ok and the memory riuns at: 760 better tahn before, but if y go to 400x7. NO. I have try 400x7. and I clik F10 save and ecit. The pC shopu dawn and reboot ,,, for a fe seconds, again shot dawn and reboot and l load Windws. I chek whit CPU-z and no way. the memory falls to 1060 and the CPU back to 1333x7.. What you suggest me? . I dont have any little interes tom overclock my CPU.I only will try if the RAM will run at 1600 whit the stock CPU 2.5 if not, leet se if you have any idea. many Thanks for you help sir.

With 417MHz:
cpu: 6 x 417 = 2.502 MHz
mem: 4 x 417 = 1668 MHz

There are other bios settings that need to be changed to run at these settings.
Fill in your bios settings from the link in my first post and we can provide the changes that will get you to your goals.

Default Re: GA EP45C-DS3 and Corsair MXS3 1600 DDR3

Let me add, I have tried whit more than 380, Whit 399, and:
CPU enhanced HAlt C1e >> Disabled
Cpu termal monitor >> Disabled
Cpu EIST function >> Disabled

And I finaly get ONE single reboot , ( using 399) but Windows Vista starts to load bad, I get a Blue screen , mentionig very quickly something about memory, and no way, I back to 380, and it,s ok and is the max I can reach
By tjhe way my Bios version es only F2, never been updated. Why that happens??? Its, not factory stock use 400 ?????

Dram voltage 1.8

F5 is the latest bios version for your motherboard. Versions F3 thru F5 feature "Enhanced Memory Compatibility". Update your bios to F5 using the procedures in Lsdme's Bios Flashing Guide.

I will provide bios settings for you tomorrow night.

Default Re: GA EP45C-DS3 and Corsair MXS3 1600 DDR3

I would suggest you update your BIOS F2 is pretty old and all three newer BIOS updates have addressed memory compatibility issues.

Here is the latest BIOS page, I would grab F5 >>
GIGABYTE - Support&Download - Motherboard - BIOS - GA-EP45C-DS3 (rev. 1.0)

And please read this guide on how to flash using Qflash >>
BIOS Flashing - A "How To ~ Qflash Guide"

You will have to of course use more than 333 FSB and overclock your CPU to run your ram at 1600Mhz, but as you know there is many ways to do that. I would suggest you use a whole Number CPU multiplier.

7x400 is only 2.8 so that should be easy if you want to keep your CPU not overclocked so much, or as said above 417 would be right at 2.5Ghz

I would suggest you set MCH Voltage to 1.2-1.3 and then you should have better luck, you may also need to adjust Vtt (Termination) to maybe 1.225-1.3 depending on the Vcore you use

Put Performance Enhance on Standard as well
