Default GA-EX58-UD3R system fan control

Anyone know if it should be able to control any of the sys_fan headers?

I was wondering the same thing. I tried using speedfan and it didn't seem to work.

Did you change the PWM mode to "software controlled" in speedfan?

You can only control CPU fan and Sys_Fan2 on this board

OK, thanks. Probably just a software problem for people who can't.

Also, 3-pin fans should work. Correct?

How can you control these? Once I plugged my 3000RPM fan into the System 2 fan, it dropped to 1500 RPM and I cant raise it. My CPU fan stayed at 3000RPM though.

What are you using to control it?

Well I turned Smart Fan on and it works for my cpu, but I don't know how to control the Sys_Fan2, unless Smart Fan controls that one too?

Download Speedfan and try it.

You'll need to go to Configure->Advanced
Then set all the PWM MODEs you see to Software Controlled.

Also, maybe try setting Reverse PWM Logic to ON and see if that helps with your highspeed fan.

If none of that helps, try the latest beta version. You'll need to sign up for it on the website, almico.com

Wow thanks it worked. That saved me $20 since I don't have to get a fan controller.
