Default Gigabyte GA-45 DS3L - no monitor signal

Hi

i'm working on my new system. The build is:

Gigabyte GA-45 DS3L rev. 1.0
Core 2 duo E8600 3,3 ghz
Sapphire Ati Radeon 4870X2
4 gb Kingston HyperX DD2 Dual channel 6400

The problems is that i do not get any monitor signal at all.
I've tried to disconnect all the componens except the GFX, and it doesn't help either.

What can be wrong?

What PSU are you using? Is it able to supply the huge current for two crossfired HD4870 cards?
Are the both rear ATX 12v input connected?
Did you tried a boot with one single card installed?

Can you post your PSU specs? Are you sure you connected the additional power cable to the graphics card?

For sure that Corsair PSU is able to feed this internally crossfired double card.

The connector I mentioned is that one black eight-pin in the picture below. It should be connected to the PSU and I think that Corsair PSU have the appropriate cable and plug. Otherwise, a special cable is supplied with the card and it can be plugged in one of HD drive power supply wires.
Without that 12v there will be no video.

hey one thing to make sure you check is your CPU I know a while back I got same thing too and it was because a few of the pins where I placed the processor got bent. If that is the case get some tweasers and be careful straighting them out.
