See above for link. They are still working on compatibility issues with it, that is why it has not been made into all new BIOS's yet

Here I uploaded a F8B modified bios for the EX-58-UD5 (not extreme) including the latest intel raid bios 1.20E for whoever wants to test it:
http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/5/...9/ex58ud5m.f8b Works fine in my system, no warranties included for usage. As usual with any beta code. |

Hi. thanks for the info on the modded bios, but how do you install it I have used flashspi and spiflash and they both stop with a bios mismatch, if one of you guys let me know how to do it, what is the way to flash back to a ud5 bios once they have put the new ahci in it. Thanks.

on the beta-download section of the german gigabyte site you can find the most up-to-date beta bioses:
GIGABYTE Forum in my case i grabbed the F14d for my P35-DS4 which has the updated intel AHCI Rom 1.20E; it has has a somewhat reorganized menu, combining MIT and Ram settings into a single section; it flashed nicely with Q-Flash and works very well... the boost to the intel rom startup-speed is quite remarkable; best update i ever flashed on my DS4
