Yes, please see the above linked thread.

To Answer you though the file you download from Gigabyte is a SFX file which is a Self Extracting Rar/Zip file, just double click it and it will extract to your desktop. Just to note, yes "Install" means extract

Most of the time I down load it to a jump drive extract it in the drive. Restart and hit END I think and follow direction. When I loaded the 7a file from this site i was told i needed a program to extract it,thats why i asked.

Ya, some places will host only the .Fxx BIOS file and others will have the SFX/EXE file that will contain the .Fxx BIOS file, a Batch File, and a Flash Utility

Sorry for the confusion, I wrote that guide long before Stasio started posted BIOS's here so it was meant for a download from Gigabyte is all.

Hey, that is a hot Azz...

Not sure! I would like to know as well as it is not in any Of the P45 boards except the UD3 models. Have you asked Tech Support? >>>
GIGABYTE - Support&Download - Technical Service Zone

I plan to, so the more people who do ask maybe we can get it added in the next round of BIOS updates. So please do ask, and if you get a reply come let us know what it says

Thanks, and welcome aboard!

I have just did that;) I asked if they could put "load line calibration" in the next bios to P45-Extreme. I love my board, but when you sett 1,43v and under load it shows 1,34-1,35....so the LLC would be nice.
I said that to in my mail to them, but its not stupid that more people send mail and ask about that.
When a card that is MUCH cheaper have it, they can put in our bios to

And thanks for the welcome=)
I will post my answar from them when i get it;)
