My problem: I've been having trouble with my computer, basically when I'm playing Borderlands my screen just turns of (with audio for 1 sec) and then no audio, no picture,no hard drive activity, no reboot. I get stuck on a black screen and the only way to take it back is pressing the reset button. Try MCH Core 1.2-1.24v (start low, increase only if needed.) If this does not help try 1.05-0.95v.
If you have not began with BIOS optimized defualts please load them and apply changes you have made so far. The memory is rated 1.6v in corsair site, maybe there is no need for 1.7v. XMP is not listed in the settings you have posted, Corsair usually have them, could you post a screen capture of MemSet main(click >>) and SPD(click spd) windows? MemSet can be dowloded from Latest Overclocking Programs, System Info, Benchmarking, & Stability Tools

Have you change Static tRead Value manually? For some reason it is different for each channel(Performance Level).
Note that for 533MHz(DDR-1066) timings are very loose and can be 7-7-7-20 (leave it for later after the problem is solved). Run several passes of memtest86+ on both sticks, if you get errors run it on each stick individually, each stick in a different slot. If one stick fail replace it with the other to verify if it is the stick or the slot that is in fault.

Hi SergioCR and welcome to TweakTown Forums.
![]() All the Moderators will ask you if you have loaded optimized defaults prior to doing any BIOS settings, but save your work first. By saving your work I mean copying and printing your BIOS settings, or just write them down on paper. Use the generic template and print it out so you save a lot of work then you simply redo the one template with your settings and then compare when in BIOS, make corrections as necessary. Then Professor Jim has provided this post to help First timers, it is here---->>>> GA-EP45-UD3R/UD3 Overclocking for first time oops well the link is in this thread and here is the real link sorry ---->>> http://forums.tweaktown.com/295784-post5.html Quote:

Please refer to post that I linked to above for most of your help in setting up your BIOS then post your settings back here and if you can wrap it in code tags after selecting (highlighting) your text. The code button is above this area when you are repling back(its got a # sign on it). To select text you simply start at upper left and hold down your left mouse button and pull to lower right corner of selected text. then press the # button. Happy Trails Max out

Ok seems like the problem is solved :D Thanks guys!
My game doesn't crash anymore and my stability (according to IntelBurningTest V2.3) is ok... So now, What was the thing I should fix on my RAM?

What changes have you made?
Repost your settings and MemSet mainwindow(no need for spd) screen capture and we'll see what may be improved.
