I've this new motherboard EP45DS3R and i think that my bios configuration is wrong. i've Kingston KHX8500D2K2/2G (Total 4GB) and i see only 2GB in the windows and in the bios i see only 800MHZ instead of 1033MHZ. i think that i have problems with the CPU - is use E8400 3GHZ and accordion to the EasyTune6 software it's not running 3GHZ. i'm posting an images from the EasyTune6 program.maybe you can tell what is wrong with my configuration(the bios config is factory default, almost all settings are in AUTO) CPU = ImageShack - Hosting :: cpucy8.jpg Gaphics = ImageShack - Hosting :: graphicsuh2.jpg HwMonitor = ImageShack - Hosting :: hwmonitorzs3.jpg Mem1 = ImageShack - Hosting :: mem1qm1.jpg Mem2 = ImageShack - Hosting :: mem2ut1.jpg Smart = ImageShack - Hosting :: smartbs0.jpg Tuner = ImageShack - Hosting :: tunerdw9.jpg THX |

The forum mod lsdmeasap will have a definitive answer for u soon. But for the meantime I can tell you that the reason for the CPU running too slow is the multiplier is set to 6 and it should be 9. So in BIOS u should enable CPU HOST FREQUENCY and set it too 333 and set multiplier to 9. And disable C.I.A.2 if its enabled.
and also u could try Cpu-Z CPUID instead of easytune, I dont think Easytune is identifying everything alright cuz I see in ur pic that the name of ur CPU is all wrong, it says "Intel Core 2 Quad E8400" and there is no E8400-quad processor. It should say "Intel Core 2 Duo E8400". The prob with ur mems I am not sure of, best let the maestro/guru LSDMEASAP answer that. EDIT. Good point by fcc56 in the following post. If you DO WANT the cpu to throttle down when u are not putting load on ur computer u can disregard my answer, but if u DO NOT WANT your cpu to throttle down u should do what I wrote and also DISABLE CPU Enhanced Halt and DISABLE CPU EIST Function.

fcc56 I see your post and it is fine man. Anyone can post here to help anyone and any suggestion if fine as well. Just so you know.
If you would like your Post restored let me know Ok Man, for starters just so you know 1066MHz ram is REALLY 800MHz ram just tested to run stable at 1066 at the specified timings and oltages. You must manually set the the timings and voltages to the specified amounts You ram, by the numbers you posted is a 2x1GB kit and in your images I see each Stick is only 1gb. So you either ordered the wrong ram or they sent you the wrong ram, but that is a 2x1GB kit >>> Kingston Technology Company - -If you want your ram to run at 1066 you are going to need to post to me your settings you are using. These are for P35 so you will have to likely add a bit in. Post back your settings And I will make some suggestions to you >>> This is Just a template I use to ask people there settings, pay no attention to the numbers in it, replace with yours Robust Graphics Booster___________ [Auto] CPU Clock Ratio ____________ [8] CPU Host Clock Control_ [Enabled] CPU Host Frequency (MHz)__________ [450] PCI Express Frequency (Mhz)_______ [100] C.I.A. 2__________________________ [Disabled] System Memory Multiplier (SPD)____ [2.00] DRAM Timing Selectable_______ SPD __ [Manual] Performance Enhance = [Standard] CAS Latency Time________________ ? Sounds to me as if you need to maybe on the MAIN page of your BIOS hit Control + F1 and then enter your MIT section, you should be able to see the Voltage settings without this, but maybe not. I see you see the Static settings, this means you should be able to see the voltage settings. Take a picture of this page for me please

here are the bios pictures.
i made some minor changes like you said in your previous post. http://img503.imageshack.us/img503/4774/dsc2920tm2.gif http://img503.imageshack.us/img503/6687/dsc2921jp4.gif http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/7961/dsc2922ox4.gif |

OK, MCH core is your Northbridge (FSB/MCH Old setting)
ICH is your South Bridge DRAM (DDR2 Overvoltage old setting) is your ram I guess you do not have PCIE, dont worry I do not see it in others images as well
