Question Help! overclock on EP43 DS3L + q9400 + G.Skill 1066...

Hello people, first let me say that I'm new here, and my English is not very good, I'm using an online translator.

So, I wonder what are the optimal settings for a good overclock on my system.

GIGABYTE EP43 DSL3, Q9400, 2x 2GB G. SKILL 1066, SATELLITE 600W

Tentet overclock, but it did not work, after I turn the computer off and connected it again, and usually carrying the windows, but do not know what may have happened. (400x8=3200 - 1.25v - 2.66D 1066 - 5-5-5-15... = fail =\ )

Can anyone help me?

Your EP43-DS3L is good for moderate overclocks.
You will probably find that Cpu Host Frequency will be limited to about 420MHz maximum.

Check out this post for basic bios settings and follow the steps that explain how to provide the information we need.
Are you familiar with stress testing your bios settings using Prime95 or OCCT.
Let us know if you need more help.

Loading OPTIMIZED bios defaults is REQUIRED before you tweak your bios settings.
This includes new system setups and immediately after flashing your bios!!!
