I have always been wondering where do people find these, because Intel never publishes anything :D I mean on the web there is still the version from june 2008.

naw it's there I went through there site, just a hassle but it was the same file he has linked to.

For some reason I had some issues installing this latest Intel Chipset Software on Windows 7 Professional x64. Usually it runs through the whole installation part (USB controllers, system devices, etc.) but it showed like 3 things which went by really quick and asked for a restart thereafter. I said okay and restarted. After coming back, I wanted to make sure that it installed everything correctly so I re-ran the .exe. After it had extracted the files it told me that my computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements.



So I decided to roll back to 9.1.1.1015 WHQL and it ran and installed correctly.

Same for me. If you read the readme.txt you would find a note that Win7 drivers are to be installed manually :) It makes little sense, but whatever. I guess the installer has to be improved a little.
