Maybe you don't need all that vcore, what is your CPU VID?

I have the Sunbeamtech Core-Contact Feeezer. Here's the thing I've set my vcore at 1.48v in Bios it booted fine, but when I ran LinX or IBT it failed. In addition, at 1.48v I was getting very high temps to around 85 C.
My CPU ID showed Core voltage of 1.44 or it was around 1.45V.

Do you think I should try to re-apply Shin Etsu? The Core Temp shows VID of 1.3000v.

I got it OC'd stable at 8x400 FSB gave me 3.2Ghz running it @ 1000 Mhz 2.2V
Vcore was set to 1.3625V and Everest showing Core voltage of 1.25-1.31V.

And my temps are max 67C on full load while running IBT on 5 runs with Maximum Stress level. Which passed. Any suggestions on if I can get it stable at 3.6Ghz 400x9 FSB would be nice.

Default Re: Overclocking EP45-UD3P and Q6600 G0

Cooler seems to be solid but I am not familiar with the Shin Etsu, is it any good?
At 3.6GHz my E7200 get to 73c at 32 ambiant and it hs only 2 cores so it may be you'd have to sattle for a bit less than 3.6GHz 3.4 or 3.5.
I also hear not al Q6600 can do 3.6GHz.
I suggest you make your own thread, post your settings using the template from this post, add your system specs to your forum signature including a link to your ram specs, and people will be able to advise.

From comparison Shin Etsu tends to get the best temps over a period of time, if you perform the burn in period of 200 Hours. I guess I'll stick with 3.2 Ghz, I don't really need the extra mhz, but it would be nice to achieve it. Thanks alot anyways.
