Nope not yet... It seems since Win7 is more efficient it's throwing something off. I don't know if it's a bios issue or if I'm just off on my settings. I'm not bothering with lowering my ram speed. I'm just trying to get my 3.8oc back. I don't understand why it was rock solid in Vista but not Windows 7. I'm still working on it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

No, Because it puts my ram over 1600. Is there something I missed and can still adjust the ram at 1600? I've tried changing ram multi but I'm either above or under 1600 when I do that.

yes you will have to underclock your ram if you use 20x multi but its worth a try to see if your stable, then work from there...some cpu's like odd multi's and some like even

Tried your suggestion and I couldn't even boot into windows. This is so frustrating. One things destroys a stable OC. I'm not giving up just frustrated. I'll keep working on it. Keep those suggestions coming. It's the only thing keeping me sane as I have run out of ideas.

Qpi/Vtt 1.3. I didn't use more because I thought I wouldn't need to since I'm under clocking my ram.

Did you try changing the Command rate to 2 instead of 1? That might be enough to loosen the timings but keep your OC.

Oh and try 9-9-9-25 as well. This might sound crazy, but have you tried lowering the RAM voltage to 1.60 or 1.64? Maybe that might weird out the system to work.

I can stay stable now at 3.8 @ 181X21 with Turbo on and HT on. I had to bump my vcore to 1.25 instead of 1.23 or so before. I'm not sure why it changes every once in a while. Sometimes it will be super stable and then I will power it on and I will see the "restoring bios" message "due to bad overclock." I'm not sure why I have to tweak my volts every now and again but oh well. I'm at 10-10-10-24 instead of 9-9-9-24 at same settings. This seems to have stopped the bad oc warning in bios. I am just using 1.55V on my RAM as well. I hope you get it solved and don't give up. Have you tried testing the memory sticks again? Sometimes they just crap out.

Oh and maybe you should try an older BIOS and see if it works. I'm still using F8 and was going to update this last weekend to 10 but didn't get around to it. Maybe an older BIOS will be loose enough in the settings to stay stable.

I'm just giving you more ideas to work with so hopefully you solve your dilema! =)

Thank you all for your suggestions. I've tried them all but it's still a no go. I even updated my chipset drivers, still not stable. What can make me so unstable just by doing a fresh install of a new OS? And yes I installed the OS with default settings.

Still unable to get stable 3.8oc. Can anyone post bios setting that has a stable 3.8oc with a C0 chip and same board as mine please? I'm hoping that going through someone's bios settings can help me figure out what I'm doing wrong.
