Default OverClocking Q6600 in GA-EP45-DS4P F8

Hello
Befor , I had GA-EP31-DS3L and KingSton value ram .i overclocked Q6600 2.4 @ 3.6 and Memory was running at stock speed
Now , i have GA-EP45-DS4P and KingStone PC8500 2x2G (Model :KHX8500AD2/2G) .† Latency Timings (7-7-7-20 2.00v)
i tried to overclock to 3.00Mhz FSB (333) = Bus 1333
now memory Running at 1066 and now system running stable without any problem
then tried to 3.2 @ and memory 1139 system runing very well
i tried to hit 3.6 Mhz but boot failer !!!! that should'nt happend
the old Chipset (P31) can overclock to 3.6
now i have bad bad idea on GA-EP45-DS4P
BTW the Voltage was set to Auto expet Memory (1.8 + 0.2 = 2.00V)
I want to run my system at 4.00 MHz stable without overclocking the memory or even 3.6 Mhz
Q: What the voltage and Timing Should i set to hit 4.00 Mhz or 3.6 Mhz
Q:What Setting should Enable Or Disable
BTW its Q6600 Stepping G0 and about heat dont warry about

I Hope
Lsdmeasap Can Answer Me As soon He can (because he have same motherboard)

You need to change the memory multiplier, your problem is your RAM, you're trying to push it to DDR2 1200 or more which it cant handle.
Find the following settings and adjust them to the bold values:
DRAM Performance Control
Performance Enhance........................: [Standard]
Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P.)..........: [Disabled]
(G)MCH Frequency Latch....................: [400]
System Memory Multiplier ..................: [2.66D]
Memory Frequency (Mhz) ...............: 1066
DRAM Timing Selectable ..................: [Manual]

If you want to further increase the CPU frequency adjust the System memory multiplier to a lower value (but use one with a D at the end). "Memory frequency" will show you what your RAM is running at, and it shouldn't be running at much moree than 1066.

You likely won't hit 4.0 GHz without very good cooling and a good CPU, most Q6600 bottom out at 3.8-3.9GHz, even with watercooling (Using VCores that are acceptable for 24/7 use that is. If you go above 1.5V your chances at 4GHz aren't too bad, but you need very good cooling)

Have a look at the RAM timings sticky in this forum and manually st all the timings (excpet the advanced tRead values).

You have some of the worst 1066 RAM out there, normaly timings are 5-5-5-15 on good 1066 RAM. So maybe timings settings on auto are an issue. What was your "performance enhance" set to btw?

Also try to run the RAM at 800 and see if that works (change system meory multiplier to 2.0D).
