Default P35-DS4 Reboot Loop?

so i have a Intel Core2 Quad q9450 and a P35-DS4 REV2.1 Mobo. with 4gig 4x1gig sticks of crucial ballistix 667 memory. b4 owning this ive ran all this for 6months with my e6750 and had no problems whats so ever at stock to 4.1ghz on the cpu not 1 error.then i ordered the q9450 installed the F11 and tried the F12 bios to support it and after a while of leaving my computer on when i reboot it gets a reboot loop and doesn't want to reboot just sits there for like 30secs then crashes and i have to manual power it up about 1min later to post correctly note this is at stock settings and i usally OC to about 3.26ghz but ive been running it stock to see if it fixs the problem and still does it. ive tried clearing the cmos taking out the battery reflashing the bios etc etc and even removed 1 of the 4 sticks of ram to see that clears it up but still has the same problem... as what i read quad cores with crucial ballistix memory is a issue is that true or something not setup right ive messed with ram timmings voltages etc etc and even at stock settings it shouldnt have this problem.

Well, stock settings may or may not be correct. I always say AUTO should not be used it is too little often, or too much.

I also say VERY MUCH Crucial is not compatible with GA boards.

When you do your flashing or clearing of the CMOS, you must load and apply "Optimized Defaults", then reboot after loading this first, then go back in after the reboot and make you changes. Just a heads up incase this is not how you were doing it

But since you had been using it without problems, what settings are you using now and I will see if I see anything out of place >>>

This is Just a template I use to ask people there settings, pay no attention to the numbers in it, replace with yours

Robust Graphics Booster___________ [Auto]
CPU Clock Ratio ____________ [8]
CPU Host Clock Control_ [Enabled]
CPU Host Frequency (MHz)__________ [450]
PCI Express Frequency (Mhz)_______ [102]
C.I.A. 2__________________________ [Disabled]
System Memory Multiplier (SPD)____ [2.00]
DRAM Timing Selectable_______ SPD __ [Manual]
Performance Enhance = [Standard]

CAS Latency Time________________ ?
Dram RAS# to CAS# Delay_________ ?
Dram RAS# Precharge Delay_______?
Precharge Delay (tRAS)__________ ?
ACT to ACT Delay (tRRD)_________ ?
Rank Write to READ Delay________ ?
Write to Precharge Delay_________ ?
Refresh to ACT Delay______________ ?
Read to Precharge Delay__________ ?
Static tRead Value_______________ 1-31
Static tRead Phase Adjust________ 1-31

System Voltage Control____ [Manual]
DDR2 OverVoltage Control__ [+0.300V]
PCI-E OverVoltage Control_ [+0.1V]
FSB OverVoltage Control___ [+0.1V]
(G)MCH OverVoltage Control [+0.1V]
CPU Voltage Control_______ [1.25]

Nope, I suggest against Crucial, OCZ and Corsair. I recommend Mushkin and G.Skills

But like I said, Since you had your Crucials working before, please post me the settings you are using now that are failing and I will post back some corrected/suggested settings that will likely get you working fine again. Unless your Crucial Are not dead, they do die very often

This is what I would suggest to you for 3.2 >>>

Robust Graphics Booster___________ [Auto]
CPU Clock Ratio ____________ [8]
CPU Host Clock Control_ [Enabled]
CPU Host Frequency (MHz)__________ [400]
PCI Express Frequency (Mhz)_______ [100]
C.I.A. 2__________________________ [Disabled]
System Memory Multiplier (SPD)____ [2.00]
DRAM Timing Selectable_______ SPD __ [Manual]

Performance Enhance = [Standard]

CAS Latency Time________________ 4
Dram RAS# to CAS# Delay_________4
Dram RAS# Precharge Delay_______4
Precharge Delay (tRAS)__________ 12

Start with the higher suggested settings >>>

ACT to ACT Delay (tRRD)_________ 3-4
Rank Write to READ Delay________ 9-11
Write to Precharge Delay_________3-5
Refresh to ACT Delay______________38-42
Read to Precharge Delay__________ 3-6
Static tRead Value_______________ 7-10
Static tRead Phase Adjust________ 1-31 <<< Leave on 1-31 or AUTO or Zero (Meaning do set a # other then 0)

System Voltage Control____ [Manual]
DDR2 OverVoltage Control__ [+0.300V]
PCI-E OverVoltage Control_ [+0.1V]<<< For stability
FSB OverVoltage Control___ [+0.1V]<<< For stability
(G)MCH OverVoltage Control [+0.1V] <<< For stability
CPU Voltage Control_______ [1.30-1.35] <<< You must manually find your CPU's own ability here, but AUTO is not going to work properly. Maybe 1.3 or so
