Default Re: Problems with GA-EP43-DS3L and 2x2GB memory

I think this is a problem with this specific OCZ memory and Gigabyte boards. Don't ask me why, but I am having the same problem getting the PC2-8500 Platinum memory to work on my EP45-UD3P. With one stick installed, it boots fine. With 2 (2x2GB) it just gets stuck in a reboot loop. A little google research and I found I am not the only one dealing with this.

I am returning my OCZ Platinum memory and trying something else. Fortunately, I got Newegg to waive the restocking fee.

I believe it actually. Many DDr3 users have issues as well, and I used to have TONS of compatibility issues with P35 and OCZ. I am trying to get them to ship me some samples but have yet to find out anything

Ya, Newegg ROCKS!!! Always call in about issues and they will for sure help get things done and waived/cross shipped.

Get ya some Mushkins and be stable!

It could help, but I bet it is all in your settings. Please do post that back with the exact settings you applied so I can see if maybe you missed something or still have something wrong
