Unhappy RAID 0 lost after turned of for a week.

My EP45-UD3P based machine did something really weird this morning. Normally I leave the box on 24/7 but I was recently out of town for a week and the machine was turned off during that time. When I restarted for the first time after coming back, my RAID 0 array was gone and I got "Missing Operating System" messages.

Looking at the Intel RAID BIOS screen, it appeared that both disks were OK (green text), but the RAID volume itself was gone and both disks had reset to non-RAID mode. I re-created the RAID volume and was able to recover my partition using TestDisk (thank goodness!).

I've been googling all day with little luck, but maybe I'm just using the wrong keywords. Has anyone else had issues similar to this?

Setup:
EP45-UD3P v1.1, BIOS F8
2x Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 (I think) 320 GB drives.

Thanks!

Was your system unplugged while you were gone? If it was the CMOS could have been cleared thus resetting your SATA Settings to NON RAID. That, or it could have stormed and reset your BIOS?
