Exclamation Ram issue with GA-EP43-DS3

Hi.

I have some problem with my motherboard in Vista 64bit.

I get a blue screen when I start Vista with 4gb ram (2x2gb).
Sometimes Vista are running, but after 5-10min. it reboot.
I have tried with 1x2gb and that works fine.

I use Kingston HyperX DDR2 PC6400 ram.

Someone please help me.

Put performance Enhance on standard, and set your ram voltage to the amount you see on your ram sticker. And then you may need to bump MCH Voltage to 1.2-1.24

If you need more help, you need to post your full specs, and a link to your ram please

Hi.

I think that was it.

Yesterday I read your guide
Memory Timings Explained W/ Suggested Timings & Memset VS. BIOS

And I have set the ram timings to 5-5-5-5-15 and the MCH voltage to 1,2v but raised it to 1,24v, because the pc start to crash after some Prime95 cpu, ram testing. Have do I best test for stability?

Thanks for your help.

You may not need to use 555-15, what does your ram sticker say?

1.24 is fine, and often just the right spot.

I use Memtest86+ to test the memory by itself >>>
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

And then to test the Memory and CPU together I use Orthos, you can get that and MANY tools here >>>
Latest Overclocking Programs, System Info, Benchmarking, & Stability Tools

Good luck, and I will see ya later on!

You had it right, it is 555-15 @ 800Mhz with 1.8-1.85V

If you need help with ALL your settings you need to post your full specs, and then fill this out with what you are using now and I will advise back >>>

This is Just a template I use to ask people their settings, pay no attention to the numbers in it, replace with yours
