Question ram for my ep45 ud3r

I am planning on buying the ep45 ud3r and was wondering if the ddr2 800 or ddr2 1066 etc different rams would make a difference. The rest of the parts i'll be getting are the intel q6600 2.ghz quad, xigmatek dark knight cooling, and the 9800gtx gpu.

I was mainly wondering because 4gb (2x2gb) ram runs from $25 upwards to the hundreds.

Default Re: ram for my ep45 ud3r

If your getting the Q6600 then 800mhz ram is plenty since that cpu has a high multiplier.

You only really need 1066 if you overclocking a cpu that has lower multi or you want to OC and have high FSB.
