Default Running Dynamic Energy Saver (DES) on Newest EP45-UD3P v1.6 Bios FDa

I just recently updated to the FDa bios, and I now get the message

"Please update the latest Dynamic Energy Saver Advanced utility from GIGABYTE website for the advanced." whenever I try to start up the DES program.

I had the program working previously. This is a DVR system, not really a high performance system, so I like minimum power consumption during most of the day when the system is idling.

Has anybody seen this? Is the DES program programmed to check for certain bios revisions, and not operate otherwise?? If so, anyway to override?

Thanks!
-M

just up date to the latest version of D E S. It must read some info from the bios and it is smart enough to tell you have to update it since you updated the bios. All latest version of drivers and utilities can be found in the stick at the top of this forum.

That might work if the newest DES version were programmed to recognize the latest beta bios...but its not. Hence my situation...

So I can install and run DES B8.0129.1, and DES 2 (B9.0904.1) without any problems.

But the one that's actually made for my board (DES Advanced B9.0904.1) won't run. Priceless...
