Just tried booting to dos from the floppy, does nothing but continuous reboot/power cycles. Tried the disk in my own machine and noticed it has to get to the verifying dmi pool data screen which is after the bios logo before it can boot from the floppy. So how am i supposed to boot from floppy if my brothers machine ( the bad one ) cannot even get to this screen, which is after the bios logo. If his machine could pass the bios logo, i would not be going nuts to begin with.
The dos boot disk works fine in my machine . i unplugged all diff kinds of combos in various orders trying to get it to floppy. wont go. any ideas? anybody? ill send you a case of beer overnite fedex (if ur over 21) to whoever will even get me in the right direction and understand what im saying here in a reasonable amount of time.
