As I said, try contacting Gigabyte support for a new key. Explain what has happened and see what they say.

Failing that, there are lots of freeware utilities that should support your card, as long as you install the latest WDM compatible drivers (I linked to them in a previous post). Look here for some programs, and try them to see which one you like best: Free wdm pvr software by Chris P.C. srl and others

There isn't much more support anyone can give you to be honest. If you've lost your serial, apart from using a freeware app, you'll have to hope Gigabyte take pitty on you or buy a retail version of the TV/PVR program that came with the card.

Do you have Vista or W7 if so why not try Windows Media Center ? It's excellent I prefer it over Sagetv and Beyondtv and the W7 version has clear Qam support.

Glad you have it working. the thing with freeware is that you really have to try a couple of different programs until you find one you like and that has all the features you need.

Most of thse linked work with XP all the way up to and including Windows 7, so it's a case of trying them till you get one that's right for you.

First thing I recommend you do is download the latest driver from Gigabyte. I assume you're using the driver that came with the card at the moment?

The link is here: GIGABYTE - Support&Download - PC Components - Driver - GT-P6000 be careful to download and use the one that is intended for your Operating system. If you're running XP, you need to use the very bottom driver.

After this, try the current program you're using again. If you still have problems, I suggest going back to the link of freeware utilities and downloading the first 10 programs. Install and try each one in turn and see if you can tune your channels in. It's probably just a case of trial and error. Some freeware programs may be more compatible with your GT-P6000 than others.
