Default Windows 2000 drivers for GA-MA78GM-S2H?

I just bought a GA-MA78GM-S2H and wanted to install Windows 2000 on it.
Gigabyte provides W2K drivers for the LAN and Audio chip, but not for
the 780G chipset/IGP. Installation attempts of the XP driver fail, though
the driver model of W2K and XP is AFAIK the same.
Isn't the board supposed to work on W2K or am I missing something?

I always get my chipset drivers at the source, so you should as well. I would suggest you download them here >>>
Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

If you do find you need a old driver here is the archive >>>
NVIDIA Driver Downloads - Advanced Search

Erm, the 780G is an ATI/AMD chipset.
And I can only find Windows XP drivers on their website.

Ohh Sorry!

I Get lost with AMD/SLI boards as I do not use them. Here is ATI/AMD Chipset drivers installer >>>
http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/cont...Ddrvpk_130.exe

It should analyze your system and download the proper drivers

Other then that I read Nvidia or ATI GFX card does not matter that you should download and install the latest ATI Radeon GFX driver package and install it. It will scan and show you which drivers can also be installed from within it as it has chipset drivers also included in the package (I know it says XP, but you will just have to try it as I am not there, and HD3200 Chipset download is not available for W2K but is likely included in the package) >>>>
AMD GAME Drivers & Tools

And or you can try this >>>
DriverAgent.com

Or you can try this ATI/AMD driver package scanner combo
http://cdrom.amd.com/21860/updates/o...iverpack32.exe

Sorry man, I know I provided alot of links! I done this because I am not sure and cannot test as I do not have the board. But I do read at MANY Places the chipset/igp drivers are included in the Radeon Packages. So you should be set with one of these links for sure. I would try the "Scanner" ones first if Radeon XP one fails

XP Drivers should work as XP and W2K are both NT5 Platforms
