Default Asus Rampage 2 Extreme & Kingston HyperX DDR3-2000 6gb kit

Hi

I've just ordered components for a new computer.
As mobo i choosed the rampage 2 extreme and HyperX DDR3 2000mhz memory to go with it. Now i first thought the mobo supported DDR3 modules up too 2000mhz but it says only 1800mhz (O.C.)?
So my question is if these two are compatible with eacother?
And is there something to think about to set in bios?

Memory: KHX1600D3ULT1K3/6KHX1600D3ULT1K3/6GX

MOBO: ASUS Rampage II Extreme X58 Motherboard :: TweakTown

Sorry for my noobish questions but im trying to learn. ;)
Any help is really appreaciated.

Hi Philip C,

If you visit Asus webpage for this motherboard, it states that it supports Triple-channel, DDR3 2000(O.C), but it only has logo for Triple-Channel, DDR3 1800(O.C.). You will need to contact Asus to inquire about the exact spec for this motherboard.

Regardless, this motherboard should still be able to support Kingston's KHX16000D3ULT1K3/6GX memory.
