Hey!
I too have purchased KHX8500D2K2/4G (4gb 1066mhz kit of 2) and i was just wondering what voltage settings to use.
Both of the sticks have labels that has 2.3V marked on them. But when i look up in
Kingston Technology Company - HyperX DDR2 - they have recommended voltage setting at 2.2V.
So what gives? Which one should i use? Thanks.

your motherboard should have a standard voltage setting for 1066MHz memory as well for other frequencies... and as I think it is overclockable stuff...guess you don't need to worry much of 0.1V... anyway always keep in mind to monitor your system... I'm currently running on 800Mhz 1.9V (no overclock, the maximum my actual mobo/processor supports) and it works pretty fine, they just get a little warm... and I swear the fact I cannot push them to 1.1GHz yet... by the way...best memory I ever used

about "So what gives? Which one should i use?" ...for normal use you could keep it from 1.8-2.2 matching to the best performance and stability. I mean, if running in 800MHz go for 1.8-2.0V if running in 1066MHz use 2.0-2.2V ...going for overclock? try pushing it to 2.3 maybe. DON'T push it beyond 2.3V if you're not sure about that.....

i have the same ram and if i set the Vdimm to 2.2V i get boot problems. but the ram runs fine with lower Vdimm for me, even with 1.95V at 5-5-5-15. not sure why this is, maybe a problem with the MB...
