Could very well be early signs of PSU giving up. Purepower is getting quite old now and IIRC the 5V and 12V were both designed for Pentium 4 era PCs.
So it's done well so far keeping up with your upgrades but it does have its limits.

This PSU only has the 4 pin MB 12V connector and the 12V rails are 14-15A each. 5V is 30A. For your system you could do with a little bit more IMO.
While 5V isn't the biggest concern, 4.95V is fine. How does your 12V look? The fans and video card are both drawing from 12V.

Are you saying this is not a good power supply? I checked your website and it says it supports all the latest CPU's and also the latest graphic cards including crossfire. Crossfire did not even exist when the Pentium 4 were out.
Do you think this device is defective or do you think they misadvertised? |

I am starting to think there are some problems with the fan on my 760is as it hestitates to start and then runs and then just randomly stops. When it does shut off it will attempt to restart but only move a little. My other fan which is a TMG1 works fine. Should I be looking at a warranty replacement? None of my other fans are having this same problem.

Well in your original post you mentioned the video card also stopped working. If that isn't a issue anymore then it may just be the 760 fan. You could definitely try to RMA the fan by itself if it is faulty.

I am not sure what happen with the video card, I am going to RMA. But the fan will work for a while, but after a while of running, it won't start after a reboot. Today I came home and started the system up cold and the fan started hesitating again. I shut the system down, unplug the power to the 760is and then plug it back in and power it on again and it works. I also just noticed that the fan speed does not change when I try to adjut it using the speed control.
