please help error on nfs hot pursuit 2

Everytime I try to play the tournament events I get an exception error that says:
The thread attempted to read from or write to a virtual adress to which it does not have the approprate access. Than theres a bunch of machine language below that
all the other events work fine it only happens on the tournaments. I have a radeon and i believe i have the latest drivers for it

Sounds like a memory error. Without the benefit of your full system specs, all I can suggest is you follow my XP Guide to set the right virtual mem size, Cacheman for the correct cache sizes, run Windows Update to fix some early problems XP had with caching and make sure you have enough RAM (i.e. at least 256MB). Shut down everything else in the background, especially virus scanners.
