Forgot to mention i run 10f bios.
Auto Memory timings is your issue. Try this for 3.2 and then you will be better able to work your way up >>>

you probably need to up the MCH Core to 1.2 or so. Also bumping the RAM voltage up a bit couldnt hurt.
Last night I was doing a suicide run on my e6600 (with the same mobo and bios as yours) and hit 3.6ghz at approx 1.375 vcore/1.24v MCH core/2.0v ram. My chip runs too hot at that temp but it was prime stable. 1.1v MCH core is too low when youre running at that high FSB
going to reboot now, by saying "Leave" u mean Leave it on "auto"?
Yeah Auto or normal, Auto for now

ok done everything and it failed to boot, and loaded stock settings :<
some things i wasn't sure:
Advanced Clock Control [Press Enter]
CPU Clock Drive...........................: <<< 800
PCI Express Clock Drive.................: <<< 900
CPU Clock Skew (ps)....................: <<< 0
MCH Clock Skew (ps)...................: <<< 0
that were the settings, so i didnt touch it, is that ok?
everything that's about timings, i've set to the highest, i.e 12\15\18 i've put 18.
tRD Phase0 Adjustment...................:<<< Leave for all below as well
Dimm1 Clock Skew Control...............:Auto ps
Dimm2 Clock Skew Control...............:Auto ps
these in channel A where all set to auto,i mean all the phases, though the DIMM where -600ps and +700ps so i set them on auto as it's written here.
channel b was crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, all the things that i should have not touched them weren't as you wrote, AUTO, they were specified (i.e +1 normal) or something like that, so i didn't touch those, let's see whats more hmm.
dram voltage 2.0
mch 1.28
termination 1.3
ppl 1.56(ithink)
reference 0.848
didnt have reference 2.
Driving Strength Profiles
Driving Strength ............................ 800 or 1066
i had it in channel a, as well as channel b,it's on 800.
still no go, what am i doing wrong?
and thank you so much for your help LSD!!!!
shiplombo, here i just tried higher volts and still no go XD
EDIT:
going to sleep now, will check ur post tomorrow, thx alot :D, i hope the thread won't get buried, good night :D

try changing the frequency latch to 333MHz and increasing the MCH clock skew to 100ps and leave your timings really loose until you get it stable
also, i'd have a look at that PSU... the 4870x2 is a massive card and uses alot of power... then when you consider you're using an older c2d CPU and increasing the voltage for an OC and then putting under full load in Prime95, you're gonna be drawing ALOT of power... if it was me, i'd want a PSU at least 700W in that situation... its probably not the issue, but im just throwing it out there

Asus Lightscribe 20x SATA II DVD-DL Burner
Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro
2x 22" LG W2252TQ-PF Widescreen LCD Monitor (YAY!! Finally got the second one!!)
You may want to set MCH to Auto, and then choose a memory multi with B or D on it, the latch can be tricky until you get one boot thru with your manually set timings
Try again, using Auto, 333 and 400. When you test this change on that and reboot.
I would say try 400 again, and use these >>>

You can lower things later once you get going, and I think the above may be true about your card and PSU. Which I why I just suggested trying the extra SB Voltages
