And still no AMD board BETAs?

All a bit one sided this. Plenty of us prefer AMD to Intel, for various reasons.

On another note, GBT's change logs are virtually useless in terms of content and hide issues.

    Compare with ASUS....

The great thing about this mobo is definitely the dual bios as that has saved me countless times from having to reset the CMOS. This should also prevent any corruptions as the backup will always reinitialize in case of failure correct? If so, EVERY motherboard regardless of manufacturer/price should include the dual bios.

Except weekly BIOS update for EX58 motherboards, very soon will be BIOS update regarding:
    1.
Intel to launch Core i7 920 D0 revision on March 2nd
The CPUID number on the D0 stepping will change from 106A4 to 1067A5. However, a BIOS update will be required in order for X58 motherboards to accept the CPUID from both C0 and D0 steppings. Additionally, part numbers for the OEM and retail products have been changed, and the sSpec number has been changed from SLBCH to SLBED.
