The audio vs overclock issue? Did you verify this is not DPC latency you are having issues with?

I use onboard audio at 4.2Ghz 24/7 without issues, and have used it at 5Ghz+ jamming to tunes while I benched and sorted results and no problems.

I have a problem here with BIOS GA-X58A-UD9 - F5g!!! After overclocking windows 7 does not recognize sound card!!!

well thanks for the jokes mates but its not good to have this issues i did many linx runs to test stablilty again and again and passes perfect...just playing or normal use of sound and gets looped...then bsod all tested DPC latency, 1000% memtest etc etc fresh install again...

Is it worth updating the bios to FC5 for the UD5 Rev 2.0 board? Or just stick with FB

Sorry man, I wasn't trying to joke about this at all to you!

I was just saying I have not noticed any issues personally, nor have I seen any similar mentioned here or elsewhere unless it was caused by something else.

my UD9 runs fine at 4.5Ghz with f5g bios (you sure it's the bios? well now I am running the .W02 BIOS, but both worked well with sound card)

Yes man, the onboard sound is not recognized after I flash with bios F5g and overclocking the mobo.
