Thanks for your assistance stasio. I have decided to go back to BIOS F4 because F6 was causing loops at startup. Usually it would just restart once and not every time but when it was cold in the morning. I never had this problem with F4. I see you are using F6 successfully. Is this on the B3 board or are you using the original P67A-UD7 board. Thanks again.

I used successfully the original F6 Bios on GA-P67A-UD7-B3 with a RAID10 RST (3.6TB) but without overclocking CPU (only using memory special profile).
And successfully to with modded F6 Bios:
    Intel RAID ROM 11.5.0.1111
    Realtek LAN ROM 2.44
    From here Computertechnik JZelectronic
But to not have disk access problem (big latency over 30 seconds some time) I must disable Marvell controller (but I need to retry with FW mode only (not auto)).

Is there a guide somewhere that explains how to update the intel, realtek, etc roms in my bios? I'd like to learn how to do it myself so that I can always have the newest versions

I don't see the JMicron Controller listed for that MB:
    GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1155 - GA-Z68XP-UD3P (rev. 1.0)
Which would possibly explain the reason for the BIOS getting corrupted when you add it.

I am in NO way affiliated with Gigabyte.
If you use a BIOS I Modified, you do so at your own Risk and Assume Full Responsibilty !
