Haha, they would probably just rename last beta to final anyway, unless they've been working on some other changes, which if they are then those are probably minimal changes.
Lsdmeasap, New versions will be?
thank you!
Well if they made a new one, it will probably be the same version you have now, minus the beta letter/number (So for your board, I think that would be FF)

Hi, can someone tell me what voltage and m-amp cmos battery i need for ga-x58a-ud3r rev2, i think the one i have on my mobo at moment isnt the right voltage or isnt the right M-amp, got to get it changed, i keep getting bios corruptions. Please help, sorry its not a bios question but it kind of fits in the same catergory
The standard battery model number is CR2032.
Standard voltage is 3 volts and it is a lithium ion battery.
Normal price is $3 (USD) or less.
Sometimes you can buy name brand batteries for less than $1 each if you buy a 5-pack of batteries.

Odd/dumb question - is there a need for the "new" AHCI rom in the P67-UD4-B3 F7 bios? I tried to run it recently and I don't believe it loaded. Is there anything funky I need to do in order to get it to work properly (if at all)?
Thanks everyone...

P.S. Also, is there a way to force flash the secondary/backup bios? Secondary bios stopped flashing awhile back (just wondering if things changed).
the new ahci rom needs to be edited to support the platform you are trying to use it in. Some have seen some benefits from it but unless you are having problems with the current one its not worth the effort to do the mod in my opinion.
The back up bios usally never gets backed up unless you use flashspi or major changes were made. P67 might be a little different as they had issues with miss match bios's.
Just use the Alt+f12 to update the backup bios. May need to use ps/2 keyboard.
