Your Ivy still will be locked, till new AMI BIOS released.
Do Gigabyte plan to release AMI UEFI as official BIOS going forward for these boards or will they always be a beta just to get round the Ivy Bridge K multi problem?

I have been offerred a deal on a Z68 UD5 but I only want it if AMI UEFI will be supported going forward.

I really have no clue whats going on with Gigabyte, but they really screwed up they customers, and was hoping for much better going from Asus nightmare...

So,if i want stable pc without lock ups and crashes,i must uninstall USB 3 driver - whats the point then have 200euro mobo without USB 3 ??
Im having 6-8 crashes/freezes every day, until today i uninstalled USB 3 driver - so far no crash or freeze
I dont know if this is USB itself or BIOS,but you must have working such simple thing like USB in 200euro mobo

Updated my bios to F11 and the boot problem started up again, i flashed back to F10 and F7 and every morning when I turn on my computer it takes about 3 times before it boots in to windows.
    Goes like this
Power on, lights turn on for a few seconds power down, lights turn on for a few seconds power down, lights turn on for a few seconds goes to bios screen for a second power down, lights turn on then boots.

Today I thought about just unplugging and turning it on to drain all the power so i will see if that helps. I'm back to F11 right now.

Did you ensure backup BIOS was flashed as well?

    From Gigabyte HQ:
About the issue you mentioned, we will update the new UEFI BIOS at the end of the June or beginning of July.

And one more, don't forget to flash the AWARD BIOS in the second chip on ALT+F12 at the moment of loading PC.
