Any news on the sniper 2 bios update. taking forever.
I've got the X79-UD5, which has only one 8-pin connector like the vast majority of X79 boards. I don't see a really crucial need to have two of those connectors so I am pretty sure you won't have a problem. This is likely just to accomodate the ridiculous extra current you might need to run such a board on LN2 and 5.7 GHz or so...

Hi, I am currently using F9 on my z77x-d3h because that is the latest version available on Gigabyte's official website.
I see that F11 is already being worked on. Is it safe for me to update to F10?
Thanks.
Yes,no problem.

I can't seem to get it(GA-Z68XP-UD3-issd) to update to UEFI. I tried the USB route through Q-flash but no go.I know I'm likely doing something wrong. I don't know If having RST (raid 0) enabled is affecting the detectiion of the USB as a first boot drive. I'm running Win 7 64
You cannot use Q-Flash to go from legacy to UEFI, you need to create a dos bootable UBS flash drive copy autoexec.bat FLASHEFI biosfile.U1a to the drive, boot to a dos prompt and type autoexec.bat
This shoudl flash it for you.
any news on full support of Samsung 30mn DDR3 RAM for UD5H ???

Thank you so much and everyone involved! Installed the Uefi bios on my Z68MX-UD2H-B3 and my i5 3570K is now unlocked and my GFX card runs at a proper 16X gen3 rather than 8X gen2 that it was reading with the previous F13 BIOS.
I'm so happy everything is as it should be, got the 3570K running at 4.4 Ghz.![]()
