I have a Z68XP-UD3 board Will flashing from DOS to the new U1g UEFI update my secondary BIOS chip as well as my primary, or I gotta do something extra?
Every UD3H BIOS I've tested so far with my Samsung 30nm DDR3L has been stable with 4 sticks @1866Mhz, but had the Boot Failure Detected error at 2133Mhz. Currently I'm just using the latest F12i, but the only thing which seems to have changed in this version compared to F12h, is the addition of a Secure Boot toggle.

UD5H here. I can use 1866-9-9-9-24-2T (I think it'll do 1T, but that's what I have it on right now) for 4x4GB Samsung but anything higher or tighter timings fail immediately. Almost thinking about giving the samsung ram to my partner (she's pretty brutal to machines with memory) and moving to the Kingston HyperX 2133 stuff.
No LLC settings for GA-Z68XP-UD4 - U1g :(
I read all I could find on the reviews and settings of guys running 2133 on the amazing Sammy green but could not get better than 1866. I know its MoBo & CPU dependent but I imagine they either got lucky, or had to be leaving out the story of hours of BIOS tweaking or their stability testing is not complete but I just gave up and went with 16GB the Kingston Geneses HyperX 2133 stuff.
I made two passes on each stick in each slot on Memtest86 v4.20 and they passed. I then populated all 4 slots and I'm on my 11th hour testing witch will make it 6 passes. That will be good enough for me.
I did not go with an XMP profile in the BIOS (F8), I manually set them up as the Kingston spec'd 11-12-11-30 2T @ 1.65v.
I just got my UD5H back from RMA land and only connected a mouse, keyboard, MoBo VGA port monitor, the ram and optical drive.
After all night the RAM can barely be felt as what you would call warm to the touch. I put a temp probe under a spreader and got 38°c.
Ahhhhh....... I wish I would have done this in the 1st place. Yes Mo Money but Ahhhhh........![]()
That such a greeting friends call me and I live in Venezuela moises I really liked this forum and wanted to know if they can help me, I have 2 Corsair memory kit working at 1866MHz vengeance but when I run a GPUZ tells me they are to 1333Mhz to enable the profile XMP on startup I get a BSOD placing the options in the following manner as shown in the picture:
I hope you can help me to get the proper return to these memory

The problem is when setting bclk to 100, certain XMP memory profiles will cause the board to not boot.
GB Taiwan ask me today remove latest UD3H Beta BIOS from first page.
GBT is aware of this problem and fix should be released soon.
MaxToR :
Try bclk on Auto with XMP profile or set manually your RAM (atm).
Edit:
your pic show X79 or Z77 BIOS?
"DRAM Timing Selectable" should be on Auto (with XMP).

So,disable XMP.
Just manual set your memory to 1866 and 9-10-9-27.
As you use 4x4 GB,Vtt and IMC voltage should be increased as well.
