You prob can use less MCH core, try 1.36v. But moslty a MCH ref is not right.
Hi, i need some advices to reach over 500 FSB, now i`m stable at 500x8 but my intentions are reach 530x8 or the max as i can. But my first attempts were frustrating. With 510x8 i got my CPU stable ran ORTHOS 1h small FTT and no errors. But blend test gave error before 1min, so there is some wrong with my settings about the memory. And please take a look and let me know what can i do.

When I had my E8500 I overclocked mine at 422 bus speed with a 9.5 multiplier with volts at 1.376 without any issues.

I`m really don`t know what i can do to get stable over 500 FSB... Now i`m playing with 520 but my goal is 530, But i tried every possible combination in BIOS and in ET6 but doesn`t work very well, With settings below i can run ORTHOS small FTT for 20 min then program crash. Blend test fails immediately. I saw many people getting stable at 550, 540... etc, i believe i can do that as well just need figure out how.

your cpu core voltage looks low for that speed and u may have to enable llc.I was getting up to.06 vdroop without it ,
The memory i dont know about.. ,just drop the cpu multiplier and see whats the max mem boot you can get.

Try lowering the multiplier and see if that helps with increasing the FSB (just for testing until you find what's wrong). That way you make the CPU run cooler and it helps you isolate the factor that is limiting you.
I`ll try that thanks. After many times moving the voltages up and down i realize that my bord doesn`t like high voltage... but let`s try again.
i read that LLC enabled maybe burn CPU, at that voltage...

Hello guys, i`m new on this forum .......i have an E8500 with an EP45-DS3L ( F8 BIOS )and 4 gb RAM (Kingmax DDR2 800mhz )- after reading and tweaking ( following advices from this forum ) i managed to get my cpu at 3600 mhz (450x8 ) and a rated fsb 1800 stable (orthos ).....
I tryed BIUS settings but it seems i cant reach 500x8 - the computer doesnt even boot .......im not interested in a very high frequency but rather in the highest stable rated FSB i can reach ( if i could achieve 500x8 id have 2000 , now im stuck at 1800 ).......any help or advice is more than wellcomed![]()
