GA EP45C DS3R problem with Corsair ddr3 2x2gb 1600 mhz

Hi, I have a problem with my computer and searched alot for my problem.

The problem is that my computer randomly freezes totally and I have to restart manually. I think it is my memories that don't are right timed with my motherboard.
Can someone please help me with this settings in bios?

Cpu : Intel E8400 3.0 ghz
Memory : Corsair ddr3 1600 mhz cl9 2x2gb
hdd: seagate baracuda 500 gb sata
motherboard : Gigabyte EP 45C DS3r
gfx : XFX 9800 GTX+ 775mhz 512mb
os : vista 64 bit swedish

I need help with right timings, voltage and the "speed", in my bios it says the memory only runs in 1066 mhz when it's supposed to be runned in 1600 mhz. HELP!

What settings are you using now? Please use one of the templates you find in many threads here.

You also can't run the the RAM at 1600MHz without overclocking the CPU's FSB from 333 to 400 as the highest RAM multiplier is 4.0 (so with 400 FSB x4 you can get those 1600MHz)

Also download Memset from tweakers.fr please and post a screenshot of that. It will show us your actual RAM timings in Windows.

Ok I have to clock for 1600mhz :(, but can I run the memory in 1066 and don't get the f0kking freezes with some easy settings? I don't care if I'm running the memory in 1066 or 1600. I'll be happy just to get my computer working properly without system freezes

Ok man, here is what you should use for that memory. With the CPU at stock you can only run 1333Mhz ram speed

Well your ram is 999-24 @ 1600 right? If so, then ya you can likely use 777-20 at 1333Mhz, maybe even lower

And yes, it would be worth doing it for sure

I wonder why some programs says that my memory only gets 1.5Volt and the other program says 1.79V
