Oh! i looked at my signature and i did not list my cpu and case, CPU:Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz and my case is the roomy El Diablo form Tagan.
I will applied your suggiestons tonight and will print this out. On the memories is just that i don't want you to think that i have one stick of 4gigs it is two sets of 2x1gigs so my four slots are housed. And in case, my rig runs very cool since i have this roomy case, it is weird though that Frys told me that they tested the new sticks so they should've stressed the heck out of them but when i installed the game and my son played it crashed, well i hope i can fix this issue, if it was not for this game i would'nt have known that i have an unstable sys. i hope u r able to rslv this issue.
    thanks

is there anything else i must do? i am running stabel, the game in ultra (everything) and runs good. if i may ask, where can i learn something about the memories config.? i thought i could just buy the stick install and away i go, play, etc. but i can see i was wrong so where can i learn about memories, i may build another sys and i want to learn.

    thanks,
ps let me know if i have to add something else, oh, i hit ctrl f1 & nothing happened i did not see under Channel A the Dimm 1 same for channel B. i don't have 1.5 for MCH core and mch reference, mch/dram reg were not there too.
    THANKS.

OK ya I thought you meant 2x1 x 2 for 4x1GB. So all good there. About your BIOS settings, Some boards just do not have all that the others have. I just thought that looked odd/off that you have all of those one ram timings for channel A but only half or less for channel B.

Nice to see you found some stability. If you would like give me your settings you are now using and I will advise you of things you may try to lower if you like.

2.1V is good for those 2.2V sticks, and I do not advise using 2.2V anyway, that is just the max allowed under warranty.

Kams912, you can use most any ram speed. It all depends on your CPU FSB that you can run as to how fast you may get the ram going

Ahh OK, I know what you mean now about MCH. Well then you will have to try 1.2 and 1.3 and see if either will work

So you are all stable now then? If so great to hear! If you are not happy with performance though, please post for me your settings you are now using that are stable and I will see if you can maybe try some other things.

To make that easy, just enter only the settings you are now using, leave out things I have suggested
