    Default How do I RMA an x58- UD5 board ?

    It is only recongnising 4 or 2 gigs of Ram when 6 gigs instsalled. I bought a new board and the ram works perfectly on the new board.

    What is NOT allowed is discussing RMA problems or comments related to the RMA process.

    You will need to contact Gigabyte tech support to set up RMA authorization. Be patient.
    If you have RMA problems, try contacting Janus Yeh who is with GB support and a forum member.

    Loading OPTIMIZED bios defaults is REQUIRED before you tweak your bios settings.
    This includes new system setups and immediately after flashing your bios!!!

    I sent an email to Janus 3 days ago and no response yet. where could I find GB tech support to request an RMA number ?

    If you have had the board less than 12 months, I would contact the supplier.

    Your best bet is to contact Gigabyte tech support located in your country or region.
    The last 2 pages in my mobo user's manual has world wide contact information with phone numbers and website addresses.
