What is the spec voltage for DDR-1600?

Newbie needs help with P55-UD3L and ram
Just picked up the i5-750/Gigabyte P55-UD3L combo at Fry's and in the excitement I bought Patriot's PC3-12800 DDR3 1600mhz (2 x 2gig sticks). Once I got it up and running I noticed in the BIOS the ram was running at 1033mhz. How do I or can I get it to run at the correct speed? OR should I just return the ram and get something else?

These are not for your board, you need low voltage DDR3 1.65v max.
Also their data sheet state they only been tested with P45 and X48 chipsets.

Ok. Back home now and took a look at the mem settings in the bios.
It's running at 1066mhz with 1.5v. 7,7,7,20
Will it hurt anything besides maybe my wallet to just leave it as is?

go in bios and raise your memory multiplier to give you 1600mhz or as close to as you can,you might need to set ram voltage to 1.66 aswellOriginally Posted by Punkfarter

The BIOS would only allow me to bump it up to 1333mhz. Seems to be running fine. =)
