do you know how to flash the bios with a usb stick and q-flash??? i would re-flash and makesure clear dmi pool data is ticked when flashing, use the latest beta bios for your board available here

I had this minor problem before when my machine won't boot every time but from 2nd-3rd time, getting stuck at "Verifying DMI Pool Data" right after POST. It was annoying but not a showstopper.
So, today, Windows bluescreen thanks to ProcessExplorer and I rebooted. It's been about 1 hour now and I still can't make the damn thing to boot.
It wasn't even overclocked. I tried loading fail-safe and optimized default. Tried clearing CMOS 4 times. Tried unplugging all USB and internal disks but the system one. Nothing!
It does boot from USB jumpdrive into backtrak and when there's no drives it says "Boot disk failure".
My system is
EX58-UD4P
Intel i7 920 (C0)
OCZ Gold 1600 6GB
BFG GTX280 OC2 1GB
Windows 7 x64
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm kinda screwed by this situation since I work on this machine and it's the only one I have. Posting this from my phone.

You know, I actually did exactly that.
I thought - what if CMOS is not really cleared even though I pressed that button? So I downloaded F14b and flashed with q-Flash without keeping DMI. And nothing changed :-/
Also, funny thing - it looks like this mobo is dying by the hour - it was booting from USB stick fine few hours ago and now when I set up Ubuntu on my 8GB stick I had hard time getting it to boot from it. Had to clear CMOS again etc.
Sigh.
Give me your current settings in a template from my signature, and a link to your memory or the model #/name. Sounds like you may just need some proper settings.
What external hardware do you have connected also, sometimes external USB Hard drives or devices can cause random issues.

If my current settings are completely default except for ~10 settings - do I have to fill out the whole thing? I'm afraid to reboot, since it's taking longer every time to boot from USB now.
I reset CMOS and changed this:
CPU Clock Ratio ................................ [20x]
also set SATA to AHCI and Native mode.
Disabled floppy, disabled on-board LAN and 1394.
Enabled USB Storage and KB and mouse.
That's it.
As for USB drives - no, no USB drives, only USB stick from which I boot.
Memory - OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) OCZ3G1600LV6GK.
I was googling and I think - could this be dying CMOS battery?
Yes, please do fill out the whole thing, we need to see it all.
Do not boot from USB, if you are running a OS from USB this may be part of your problem. Booting from USB for running a small app or to test or install something is fine, running a OS from USB is not. Some USB Devices do not work easily with these boards, and that is why I also asked about these devices above.
If your CMOS battery was dying your clock would be slower in the BIOS each day, or your settings would all disappear each day.
