GA-H57M-USB3 problem

he did try it out with his own PSU and graphic card and it works fine. I am currently clueless as to why it is not working.

so he tried your mb with his psu and gpu?? what make of psu and gpu does he have??

RAM TO THE WHITE/RIGHT SLOTS
I think someone mentioned it before, but are you sure you have your two ram sticks in the white slots? I had the same problem because NORMALLY you put the ram in the slots closest to the cpu, but if you check the manual this board states that you have to put the first mem in the opposite ones. The weird thing is this I only picked this up the second time I build a system with this board... must have done it right/wrong the first time without noticing.

I am however not done with problems on this motherboard. Graphics card squishes sata 0 and I now get the "an 0/I error has occurred" message when trying to install windows.

try disabling native sata port 0-3,disable all floppy drives and drive A from bios

You are spot on! Disabling the natives worked... now if only I had you on hand earlier you could have saved me tons of frustration having to come to that conclusion on my own. Thanks anyhow, hope someone else benefits from it.

native sata is for older os,it helps to install them so maybe it was conflicting with more modern os's,glad your up and running ,now you can enjoy your new computer
