GA-X58A-UD3R, F3-12800cl8T-6GBRM and QPI/VTT voltage

I have a GA-X58A-UD3R, an I7 960 CPU and a F3-12800cl8T-6GBRM memory kit 3x2gb (just bought them). After many problems (reboots, bsod) with xmp profile (1600, which says 8-8-8-24 CR2 1.6v and 1.1175v QPI/VTT voltage), 1066 and 1333 mhz, I change the memory kit and checked that there were no bent pins on the cpu socket. I also loaded the last bios version (FF) with the "keep DMI data" disabled. Now, with the memory at 1066 and 1033 mhz (timings in manual, I took the SPD infomation with CPU-Z, see the image below), DRAM voltage at 1.54 and QPI/VTT at 1.215, I tried Prime 95 for checking stability and it reboots after 14 hours (I tried once with each memory velocity). I guess that there is a problem with the memory and the QPI/VTT voltages. May you suggest me which voltages I should try? Thanks in advance.

Are you setting dram voltage according to your ram? Either 1.5 or 1.66v,set your timing and ram speed manually to spec and set uncore freq to twice what your ram multiplier is and add one too it so for example 8x ram multi=17x uncore freq and so on

Lastly I would set qpi/vtt voltage to 1.315v

It´s 1.5 for 1066 and 1033, and 1.6 for 1600 (according to the SPD). I tried 1.5 and 1.54 for 1066 and 1333. Should I try 1.6? And which QPI/VTT voltage?

set uncore freq to twice what your ram multiplier is and add one too it so for example 8x ram multi=17x uncore freq and so on help.

Memory at 10x, uncore at 21x.

Yes set to 1.6v if ram speed is 1600mhz,disable xmp and set yourself though

Don't skimp on qpi/vtt voltage,around 1.3 or 1.315v will be fine and safe to use

Yes, the problem is the QPI/VTT, because GSkill says that it depends on each system. So, should I try 1.3 QPI/VTT at 1600?

Yeah its down to your cpu,might need more or less,1.3v is a good starting point then test with linx 10 runs on high,if it passes then its stable imo but you can test for longer in prime 95 if you want,if its not stable in linx it usually fails on the last run

I have the same board and memory. I am running my memory 8-8-8-24 at 1688 MHz at 1.50 volts and 1.295 volts QPI. I realize each system will be different, but yes, increase the QPI to ~1.3 volts. You might find that less DRAM voltage works better too. I am using XMP profile, but I set the timings 8-8-8-24-1T manually and left the rest on auto.

Yes, QPI/Vtt may need to be 1.25-1.375+, all depends on the CPU and memory timings, as well as uncore speed (Higher needs more volts)

Well, it´s really strange because OCCT Linpack runs fine more than 24 hours, and Prime 95 reboots after 14 hours.

What test are you doing on prime95? Is it the latest version? Try doing 10 runs on high with Intel burn test
