Looks like a beefed up ALC889 with ALC892 technologies (all the decoders and extra features that you don't get with the 889.) Other than that, this chip seems a bit overly hush hush..... I remember when the ALC892 first came out, everything was all top-secret about that too. Realtek will probably post specs and a datasheet as they do with almost all their devices. The linux kernel already has ALC898 support... but no specs..
